Open Position: Lineman I
Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Lineman I. The responsibilities for this position include providing the needed services for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electrical distribution system. Performing all types of work involved in the installation, maintenance, operation, removal, rearrangement, and inspection of energized facilities. External contact with members, suppliers, contractors, and the public as required. After-hours work is required when deemed necessary by supervision.

Open Position: SCADA Technician
Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of SCADA Technician. This is a non-supervisory position responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Cooperative’s supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) and distribution automation (DA) system.
Applicant must be available to work on-site at the assigned work location, including periodic overtime or outside of regular business hours as necessary or assigned. Position activities involve substation & distribution equipment; communication & control wiring; software, firmware, and database management; schematics & documentation; HMI development; alert notification & reporting.
