Welcome to the new, improved Online Bill Pay and HWE Connect Mobile App!
Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative’s mission is to provide members with reliable, affordable electricity, and excellent service.

New features of our online bill pay portal will save you time thanks to a quick pay option, the ability to pay multiple accounts at once, track your electricity usage, and update your contact information anytime, anywhere with the HWE Connect Mobile App. 

Learn to navigate the new portal and check out the new features by following these simple steps or by watching the video tutorial here.

  1. Select Pay My Bill/Login at the top of our website, www.hwe.coop. Login in with your current email address and password.Hancock-Wood Electric webpage homepage


  2. If you do not have an online account, click “Create Account.” You’ll need a copy of your electric bill to create an online account.
  3. As you begin registration, you’ll receive an email to complete the registration process. Follow the steps in the email. Once registration is complete, you’ll be able to login and see your online account.
  4. One new feature is Quick Pay. You’ll see it on the homepage of Hancock-Wood’s website. This allows you to make a fast, secure payment without having to login to your account. Quick Pay on Hancock-Wood website homepage.


  5. Other features available on the co-op website homepage allow you to view your bill online, manage your profile and contact information, set up an automatic “draft” payment, or pay multiple accounts. 
  6. At the top right of the screen, you’ll find even more options including My Account, Billing and Payments, Outage and more. 
  7. Under the “MY ACCOUNT” tab, you can update contact information, view your account history, and view your electricity usage tracker. My Account tabElectricity usage tracker.


  8. Under “BILLING & PAYMENTS” tab you can make an online payment. Under the “OUTAGE” tab, you can report an outage or check for updates on an outage. Billing and Payments tab


  9. Under the “MORE” tab, you can find information on Hancock-Wood’s Operation Round Up program if you are enrolled. 

HWE Connect Mobile App Features

The HWE Connect Mobile App allows you to access your account anytime, anywhere, on your cell phone. Search for HWE Connect in the app store on your cell phone to download. 

  1. On the home screen of the app, you can login with your current online account username and password, or Face ID. If you do not have an online account, click “Register Now” on the home screen, or you can choose to continue as a guest.HWE Mobile Connect App login screen


  2. Once logged into the app, you’ll find an “Account Summary” page which allows you to make a payment, view your current statement, access billing history and your usage tracker. Account Summary screen


  3. On the “Account Info” screen you can settings to enable Face ID, select paperless statements, update your contact information, and access other services like Operation Roundup. Account Info homescreen


  4. On the “Outage” screen you’ll see that status of your electric service right away, be able to report and outage, view an outage map, and your outage history. Outage screen
