Huffman wins scholarship from Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives 

Michael Huffman was awarded a $3,000 scholarship in Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives' (OEC) Louise Freeland Scholarship competition on March 2, 2023. 

Huffman, the son of Harold and Jennifer Huffman, is a senior at Van Buren High school. Jennifer is a service planner at Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative.

Twenty students competed for $16,800 in scholarships, funded by Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives.
